One of the very few parodies that actually manage not to lose themselves in utter nonsense in order to be funny.
The subtle humor of this (admittedly a little difficult to access) comedy makes it a fantasy movie worth seeing especially for those who are familiar with the works and stereotypes of contemporary pop-culture it sardonically refers to.
Also, Danny McBride and James Franco deliver a convincing and enjoyable performance. Highly recommended!
