"FRANCO AND MCBRIDE ON A QUEST TO SAVE A MAIDEN".

- 'Your Highness' is a 2011 fantasy comedy directed by David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express) with Danny McBride and Hollywood hottie James Franco who starred in 'This is the End'. This fairytale-like story, full of sexual jokes and with cool effects, falls short to be convincing. I especially didn't like McBrides character. With supporting cast members Natalie Portman (V for Vendetta), Zooey Deschanel (Yes Man), Justin Theroux (American Psycho), Toby Jones (The Hunger Games saga), Damian Lewis (Homeland) and Charles Dance (Game of Thrones).

Prince Thadeous (McBride) is a disappointment to his father, King Tallious (Dance), and envies his brother Fabious (Franco) who is successful warrior that has returned from a battle against sorcerer Leezar (Theroux) with the beautiful maiden Belladonna (Deschanel). Fabious asks his brother to be his best man at the wedding. But when the day is there, Thadeous doesn't attend the celebration. The wedding ceremony is crashed by Leezar and his three mothers, who succeed in kidnapping Belladonna. Feeling guilty, Thadeous agrees to join Fabious on his quest to rescue his bride. They get the help from a group of elite knights led by Boremont (Lewis) and grand adviser Julie (Jones).

Along the way the bond between the brothers is tested. They'll need to work together because many dangers cross their path (pale wood nymphs, a bloodthirsty hydra and a horny minotaur). Luckily there's the brave Isabel (Portman) who helps them. But can every member of their party be trusted? And will they be able to save Belladonna before the two moons are form an alignment?
