The effects and Set design are the best parts of the film. And it a shame that such visual talent ended up in a film like this. Lots of great looking practical effects, but they are all wasted in bad jokes.

Its low brow humor may sneak in a few laughs but for the most part not nearly as funny as it promises. It pokes fun at the fantasy genre while incorporating as much dirty humor as possible, which unfortunately gets in the way of any possible character growth.
