Review of Young Sherlock Holmes (1985) by Jonathan B — 04 Jul 2010
The 80's era was full of little gems every now and than like Young Sherlock Holmes a Spielberg production directed by Barry Levinson future director of hits like the oscar winner Rainman (88). This film is a fun filled thrill ride about a young Sherlock Holmes and his first adventure with a young Watson.
Many memorable scenes and some great effects, featured also one of the first effects by PIXAR studios future makers of hits like the Toy Story trilogy, Finding Nemo etc. All in all great fun, a somewhat forgotten film which should never be forgotten.
A moderate hit in 1985 amongst big hits like Back to the Future. Worth a watch.
