Review of Young Adult (2011) by Derek H — 16 Aug 2012
It has its moments of humour, and handles the more serious moments pretty well, but still, Young Adult seems to just exist. It never gets as funny as it wants to, nor does it get as serious as it wants to, or thinks it is.
It isn't a terrible effort, by any stretch, but there's a ton of potential that you expect a director like Jason Reitman to reach, but unfortunately, he never quite gets it there.
