Great performances. I can see why Charlize has been getting nominations. She did a lot of acting in her subtle facial expressions. She had some great icy glares and painful looks as she tried to reconnect with her past.

The story by Diablo Cody was also great. Charlize was pretty despicable for what she was trying to do to recapture the glory of her high school days but you never really hated her for it. The other great performance was Patton Oswalt, His character was the Jimminy Crickett in the story.

He had lots of story of his own and together he and Charlize had some really great scenes. Well directed by Jason Reitman as well.
