Not a comedy in the usual sense--i.e. funny. Uncomfortable feel-bad movie for the 40ish among us. Soundtrack is right-on though, but for a movie with Minneapolis roots, sad to find no Huskers here.
Don't expect any character growth or moments of insight. The world is ugly and the people are sad, and in "Young Adult" they stay that way.
