Young Adult is very predictable and it's protagonist is hard to sympathize with, but in the end that's the point. Her misadventures are entertaining, funny & sometimes cringe worthy but surprisingly poignant because writer Diablo Cody and actress Charlize Theron find depth behind her despicable behavior.
