Not one of the best Woody Allen movies I've seen in the past decade. Even though you can make an argument that he only has 2 solid movies in the 21st century(Matchpoint&Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona).
I hate to say that one of my favorite filmmakers has lost his touch or ran out of ideas. Most Woody Allen fans will say that he has made this type of movie atleast 10 to 15 times already. The creativity and location is sorely lacking.
However Woody still is able to gather a nice cast for his films. From Naomi Watts to my new favorite young lady Freida Pinto(Slumdog Millionaire) made the story flow. The witty subtle jokes were still there by Woody but I just couldn't stop thinking how similar all his movies have been.
This is a netflix movie at best. No need to rush out and see it.
