Review of You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger (2010) by Lilianetty L — 22 Apr 2011
If this is a comedy, I really think I need to re-watch it (cause I did not laugh at all, and I'm serious).
Plot: This comedy revolves around different members of a family, their tangled love lives and their attempts to try to solve their problems. Stars for a story that is nothing new at all? NON.
Acting:I must say this is the best part of my review. Why? Cause is the only one with stars! Anthony Hopkins could be the best psyco ever but as a comedian he can do it great also, same Naomi Watts. Josh Broslin as Roy...umm, not liked his role not even a bit. Antonio Banderas has done better, this role was ok, same Freida Pinto as Dia. The rest of the cast was great...but that's it.
Music: Non stars....I could not enjoy this songs on every scene, not even the gym parts or the work or house parts with the family of the film (sally and Roy and her mother's problems).
To end this review, 2 stars of 5. Is very slow, and it's not that great, unless you are bored and then, you laugh of every joke in this film. Is a nice film for adults, but is not for teens or kids (they won't get it at all). PD: If you want to make a book, make a good one, and maybe ask people so they can tell you what they enjoy on films. CHAO! HASTA LA PROXIMA AMIGOS/AS! BLESS YOU ALL IN THIS LAST DAYS OF THE HOLY WEEK!
