Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by Lilianetty L — 14 Dec 2015
It's an impressive ride from start to finish. You will think on stories like "Relatos de un Naufrago" or even Pinocchio knowing this story was the one which inspired the writer to do Moby Dick who then would inspired the ones mentioned before years later.
Director: Ron Howard did a magnificent job here. He did great making this whole cast get to work together so well. I really enjoyed his style of doing it.
Cast: My fave Cillian Murphy as Matthew Joy was stunning! I was wondering why no one would mention him on reviews...I will say his name always! He nailed his role to the max. I admire this man since Batman Begins (also got the chance to see him perform live at Brooklyn, NY on 2011 in the stage play "Misterman" which was fantastic!).
Chris as Owen also did a great job. But the ones who steal the show (I agree here with most of the people that has review this film) are Brendan Gleeson and Ben Whishaw. Those two are amazing! Brilliant job for real! What a duo! Oh and I cannot leave out Tom Holland (future Spider-Man) and Michelle Fairley. Both did a wonderful job as well.
The music score was brilliant in all ways! Is a score to hear over and over. Lovely too.
Anyway, enjoy my short review for this fantastic ocean ride! - December 14, 2015 review.
