You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger is one of Allenâ(TM)s best post New York set films; itâ(TM)s a wry and sarcastic look (much like its narration) at people who are willing to chase after illusions rather than think decisions through, just like all of us have done or will probably do at some time.
Thereâ(TM)s a lot going on here but it fits together in the end as itâ(TM)s a well-crafted and acted seriocomedy from one of the most productive filmmakers working today. (official review coming on Benny's Film Journal soon!).
