Review of You Will Be My Son (2011) by Gil S — 20 Feb 2013

This is a very odd film, None of the 4 main characters is in the least bit likeable, a trait reserved for the the two supporting female roles.

The story concerns a self obsessed old man running a vineyard who so detests his own son he would rather anyone ran it or no one ran it than he inherited it.

No opportunity is missed to ladle on the bitter nature of this man and the ripples that sends through everyone who has anything to do with him.

I'd suggest sending it back... it's corked.
