"You were never really here" is underestimated. It might be because people didn't understand it (I didn't at first). I don't really want to say much about this film but to watch it and pay attention to details and symbolism. Also, I think the director tries to give a message to everyone that has felt like the main character at anytime.
And well, Joaquin Phoenix... watch it.
