Review of You Were Never Really Here (2017) by Deborah Ross for The Spectator — 08 Mar 2018
Based on the novella by Jonathan Ames, the film has the casual, sadistic violence of a Tarantino film, but none of the narrative inventiveness, as far as I could fathom. Or narrative clarity.
