This movie makes you feel uncomfortable, but you're also rooting for the characters to work out together against the family, social, and cultural barriers that threaten to drive them apart. It's a romantic-comedy, but not overly funny.

More serious. The ending was pretty shallow and doesn't aim to give any answers to those questions posed in the movie.
