My wife and I thought the movie was amazing. Sure, it was a bit cringe, but it was supposed to be. Have you seen any of Jonah Hill's movies?
Their families were supposed to represent a very dramatic version of how people really act in America. The message was great and the actors were phenomenal. You will love this movie if you are able to see the big picture and enjoy a bit of cringy humor.
