Review of You Only Live Twice (2007) by Huseyn B — 03 Oct 2012
SPECTRUM terrorist organization, led by a Blofeld, obsessed megalomaniac, wants to destroy the American and Soviet satellites, thus intending to start a third world war. But the plans must prevent Blofelda James Bond, Agent 007 of the glorious British intelligence "Intellidzhent Service".
The fifth series of "James Bond", being rather expensive and impressively staged by the standards of the time, still managed to outperform the global box office is almost 12 times its budget of $ 9.5 million (now he was about $ 40 million - not so not many!). Before you take time off from the role of Superman's spy, actor Sean Connery again confirmed his skill in creating screen-win "soldier of fortune", playing this way with light irony. A British director Lewis Gilbert, who made the earlier films of various genres, making his debut in the Bond film cycle (he later put two tapes - "The Spy Who Loved Me" and "Munreyker"), expertly beat the cosmic surroundings and took a spectacular final scene that can forgive him for some errors in the earlier episodes.
