One of the best opening moments in movie history!! I just love the scene where the spacemarch kicks in. a spaceship swallowing another spaceship? how cool is that!! i've loved this film since I was a kid and it reminded me of how great it felt back then.

the sheer spectacle of it all. ok so this doesn't have much to do with the book but this is where the bond universe really start to sepaerate but it never fails to keep its feet firmly on the ground.

some great espionage going on gadgets not too way out. but its the finale that gets me every time. when the ninjas start descending down the volcano entrance. it would be hard to recrate something like this set now without CGI but somehow they managed it back then.

Best Connery film to date :).
