Review of You Only Live Twice (2007) by Adam B — 06 Jan 2009

An OK Bond movie - all the "elements" of a Bond movie were there, and then some Ninjas...

But,.

* the direction and (more obvious than usual) dialogue leaves a lot to be desired.

* Roald Dahl wrote the screen play for this one - WTF??

* Some really unnecessary and bad (even considering the film's era and technologies available at the time) volcano eruption footage.

* Possibly one of the worst Bond title sequences I've seen in a while.

** Redeeming features:

We finally meet the head of Spectre.

A fluffy white cat - watch for when it's freaking out over all the explosions.

Sean C. as Bond - always a pleasure. :).

Various ladies that Bond woos.

Funny and OTT chase and fight scenes.

And Ninjas!
