Review of You Only Live Twice (2007) by William C — 28 Jan 2015
Grade:High 7/10.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the fourth adventure in this.
Superb franchise, and never lets the series down once. With a maturing.
Main cast who seem to get better with each film and new characters who.
We just know will be key to the entire franchise, this is one Potter.
You can't miss out on your journey through the films. A maybe slightly.
Even more dark film than previous but never loses it's irresistible.
Charm of Harry and co, I felt this was a solidly good film, and here.
Below is why.
The story here is set up well from the previous outing but doesn't have.
A lot to continue on which is good by the end as it makes for an.
Entertaining film all by it's self. It is also much faster than before.
And it feels as if the entire machinery working behind this film has.
Been much more fluidly done and as if the technical side makes it.
Quicker but also good. One more thing on the plot is that this is one.
Interesting film, it has a story that runs throughout it and even into.
The end, although when the credits role you have nearly forgotten it.
Happened due to the ending.
The entire main cast seem almost refreshed here and for a film that.
Involves a lot of intense dialogue, it is done very well indeed. I.
Particularly will also praise all of the extra Hogwarts students who.
Really take a more major role here and people such as Neville.
Longbottom(Matthew Lewis) seem much more revised and involved in the.
Role. I also enjoyed the difference in characters especially those.
Involved in the tri-wizard tournament who just seem so at odds it makes.
For good viewing in the challenges.
Mike Newell in his only directing role for the Potter series does an OK.
Job but in truth he may be the lowest of them all in the role, now that.
Isn't criticism but occasionally seems to lack that role he has and it.
Is the actors who make the scene better. I loved the cinematography on.
Show and with such a wide range of fantastic shots it makes for a.
Beautiful film to look at, especially with the effects which also take.
A much bigger step in the right direction for special effects for the.
Series, much effects are used.
The only real criticism with this that is definite is that sometimes.
This movie gets just a little boring especially during the deep middle.
Of this film. Now it doesn't effect it so much but you can be left.
Thinking "when will something else happen than this", the ending is.
Also possibly rushed although I will give this film the benefit of them.
Wanting the end to not drag and ruin any key quotes that the ending.
Gives off.
Potter fans will love this in the series as it mixes a bit of the light.
Areas Potter starts with, but brings in darker elements from the later.
Series to be a greatly mixed mid series film. Those who don't always.
Enjoy Potter films may like it anyway because it actually is very fun.
And a lot happens in this, plus with some big effects and new exciting.
Characters, a lot can be taken from this film.
Overall I give this a high 7/10, it is Solidly Good, not quite Very Good but.
What I will say is that this is a step up from say the second film and.
Proves that the series is building towards a great ending. Watch this.
With an easily thrilled mind and you will hugely enjoy this, watch it.
Thinking it is short and quickly resolved, you won't, it is all about.
Enjoying the thrilling moments Harry gets up to, but also respecting.
The dramatic parts which are key to the entire Potter series.
