Review of You Can Count on Me (2000) by Eric D — 08 Jan 2008

This is a well-acted story about a brother and sister in a small town who lost their parents at a young age and learned to depend on each other. While it may get a little sappy at the end, most of the film is restrained and realistic with no magical turns towards happiness or random arrivals of joy that you would expect if, say, Rob Riener were writing or directing.
