Review of Yojimbo (1961) by Poo B — 06 Jan 2012
The original badass, pretty much the exact same story as in fistful full of dollars but he is a samurai instead of a cowboy, some really innovative cinematography and directing and stuff. It was the original and I understand why fistfull of dollars would copy it because in that time no one in the west gave a fruitcake about Japanese movies and vice versa, so it was good money making and stuff.
......good story, good acting and a killer score, 4 stars for sure...don't think it's the best Kurosawa movie though.
