I had the great privilege of watching Kevin Smith put this movie on at the Improv in Houston. He told stories of the process of making the film and I had an incredible time listening to him speak. He is so funny.
He is also such an inspirational and motivational influence in my life. He was the first filmmaker that I ever just fell in love with. Not in a gay way... I love gay people. Kevin Smith is one of my biggest heroes.
The movie itself was hilarious! Note that I did have a few beers and Kevin Smith talking prior to was an amazing intro to it though. It was an extremely original movie and very fun to watch. I felt like it was a bit short, but that's not a bad thing.
The two girls played by Harley Quinn Smith and Johnny Depp's daughter were amazing! They acted very well, they seemed like naturals, and were very fun to watch. The story was so original. I smile just thinking about it.
Johnny Depp is great in this movie. His character is so unique. I can't wait until it comes out on Blu-Ray and I can't wait to see the next in the True North Trilogy!
