Review of Yes Man (2008) by Kenneth R — 11 Aug 2011
The story is a bit predictable and silly, but it means well. Jim Carrey does his usual thing, and is amusing, and to an extent endearing. Zooey Deschanel does her usual 'kooky' thing, which is fine by me. Rhys Darby does a clumsily watered down (by the writers, I should say) version of his Flight of the Conchords character but is still extremely funny.
Pretty standard comedy fare overall, but enjoyable nonetheless.
