Review of Yes Man (2008) by Mikhail B — 30 Jun 2013
The heavily remindful of 'Liar, Liar' story sees Jim Carry transform from a life-avoiding person into a life-embracing one after a public seminar where he was adviced to say 'yes' without thinking to every question he is asked.
That leads him to develop new skills, excel at work and meeting his loved one, but it doesn't keep him out of trouble until he realises that every 'yes' he says should be deliberate. I like Jim Carrey a lot, but the story was flat and lacked any suspense.
