Review of Yellow Submarine (1968) by Devin R — 16 Feb 2008
I love the Beatles, but this animated feature is virtually unwatchable without the assistance of hard narcotics. The songs are slapped in, almost randomly, and there is no plot. Not even the Beatles provided their own voices.
It's a 90 headache that might have worked had the film been trimmed down to a 20 minute animated short instead.
