Review of Year of the Dragon (1985) by Jonathan W — 20 Feb 2008

Bit of an odd one as it is a bit too epic to be a cop thriller, but way too formulaic to be considered a serious study on Triads etc. This is a great little movie though, lots of fun, Cimino's direction is good but really this movie is worth seeing for mickey rourke who gives a great performance.

the showdown at the end is one of my movie favourites.
