I really liked The Good Girl, Mike White's other film about someone stuck in life. But this movie simply isn't as interesting as that film. While each share interesting side characters and small funny the moments, the main character of Peggy is simply not interesting.
And while I understand that White is trying to show how alienation can corrupt a person, she is simply unlikable. She fails twice to meet someone to help her and that drives her down this crazy path? I can't buy it and the film falls apart because of it, a disappointment.
