The film starts out as a quirky comedy, and at that it's very pleasant. unfortunately, "year of the dog" decides to transform into a very unmotivated drama toward the end, with peggy, played by molly shannon, doing some really dumb, uncharacteristic, and definitely unbelievable actions.
