A very cute but slow movie. The only thing that initially interested me about this film was Molly Shannon. The movie itself, was flawed and kind of monotonous, and, well, frankly...boring? The music was cute and the supporting characters were indifferent.
Shannon, in my opinion carried this film along. It was interesting to see her in a more "serious" role. Although I could see some Mary Katherine Gallagher in her at points, she was pretty good.
If anything watch it for her if you enjoy her work, she may surprise you.
