Review of Y Tu Mamá También (2001) by Alec B — 17 Dec 2009
The film stands more than anything as testimony to the fact that Alfonso Cuaron is one of the best directors in the business. This and Children of Men has proven him to be the "one long take" master.
The performances here are very good and I liked the story. The voice over narration is quite distracting at times and I don't know how much it services the actual story but that's a small compliant for a very good film.
