Review of Y Tu Mamá También (2001) by Jon A — 04 Dec 2010
As a Cuaron fan, I had never seen this. Loved Children of Men and Prisoner of Azkaban, but I wasn't sure what to make of this. Quite crude, but the dialog is quite funny and entertaining, and I think he was trying to making a point about class difference in Mexican society.
The ending has a "twist" that feels a little tacked on/weird....again I may have missed the point. Certainly well made and some beautiful shots of Mexico.
