A friend of mine recommended this film to me, and when I asked what it was like, his answer was only one word: "Raw" - which couldn't have been any more accurate. Cuaron's direction is stylish and the cinematography is absolutely breathtaking.
It's a delight to watch. Every sequence is shot with extreme technical precision, but it's also visceral film that hits you right in the gut. Y Tu Mama is funny, intelligent and sexy, and honestly it's one of the most likeable movies I've ever seen.
The woman (gorgeous and a wonderful actress), the setting, and the relationship between the two boys is charming as hell.
