"There's no room for honesty in a healthy relationship...".

When two college students, Sam and Thea (Robertson & Stange), meet Coles (Ruffalo) at a party, their mutual attraction is immediate, leading to a passionate and awkward night together, and the onset of an intensely charged bond. As they continue to push the sexual boundaries of their friendship, however, they are tested by Sam and Coles' incipient romance and Thea's increasing recklessness, until the relationship dissolves amid a cloud of fear, resentment and mistrust. Eight years later they reunite.

Thea: What's a little fucking among friends, right?

Guy who asks for his $ back: I saw your picture once in filmmaker magazine and I saw your movie.

Coles: Oh, yeah.

Guy who asks for his $ back: Yeah, I really didn't like it much.

Coles: Uh, I'm sorry.

Guy who asks for his $ back: I was kind of wondering, can I have my money back?

Coles: Um, you know that ticket you bought, I didn't get any of that money. It all went to the distributor and executive producers. I didn't see a dime.

Guy who asks for his $ back: But you made it, you're responsible.

Coles: What was it, eight bucks?

Guy who asks for his $ back: Nineteen. I took a girl. She didn't like it at all either. She said she thought it was morally reprehensible, especially in its depiction of women.

Coles: All right, there you go and tell your girlfriend that I said I'm sorry.

Guy who asks for his $ back: Oh. You know, we broke up.

Coles: So, we're all sorry but we all had fun.".

Coles: I was kinda looking forward to just hanging out and doing nothing.

Sam: But we can do that any night.

Coles: Yeah, but the thing is we don't.

Coles: I'm surprised that you're so upset by this situation.

Sam: What is this situation?

Coles: This!

Sam: There is no situation except for you being a complete asshole.

Coles: Would you think I was being too forward if I said, "Let's go back to your room.".

Sam: What would you say if I said, "Let's go back to my room, but let's bring Thea.".
