Truly an amazing, utterly grotesque, well crafted sci-fi nightmare. If I'd seen this as a child I'm certain I'd be living out my days in a padded cell. The effects still hold up and make for some incredibly disturbing images.
The story doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but honestly it's so weird and dreamlike it doesn't really matter. A must watch for a B movie horror fan.
