A horrible, horrible movie. The acting is like watching cardboard sit there. But my GOD I love this movie. The songs are stupidly addicting, the plot is too stupid to not laugh at, and the horrible acting is brushed off as "Oh, it was in the 80's, it was about the dancing, music, and glitz, not the acting!" That quote is from my mother, btw.
But yes.
A very, VERY guilty pleasure.
And I do want to see it on broadway, too. Goddamn. : ).
