Finally saw this after 28 years....so bad its good. You have to love a movie that pits the pop culture of the 40s against the pop culture of the 80s....in 1980! And that has the nerve to steal a comic bit from "Harvey".
An entertaining train wreck of a movie; even better if you've seen the excellent Broadway spoof. Gene Kelly remains a class act though, even in the midst of all this pungent roller disco cheese.
