Review of X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) by Justin G — 09 Aug 2016

Action packed at it's fullest, X-Men: Apocalypse is for the most part a thrill ride. Although it didn't live up to the greatness of Days of Future Past, but did enough of mixing action and story to keep it a good enough treat for the X-Men Franchise and other comic book movies.

Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy have proven once again they can carry the franchise with their great performances, Oscar Issac exceeded the expectations as Apocalypse, Evan Peters again phenomenal as Quicksilver and the new cast as a whole did pretty good to keep up with rest.

Only gripes were they could have cut the film shorter by getting rid of uneeded scenes and Jennifer Lawrence does an ok job as Raven but not as Mystique. Overall very enjoyable and fun to watch.
