Review of X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) by Stefan L — 26 Oct 2016

I guess it's never a good sign when you need two sittings to finish a movie. First of all the runtime was far too long and the plot wasn't all too exciting. I really don't understand why superhero movie makers opt for a super-alien-ultra-villain at all times.

They did in suicide squad and they did it here. Why just not a villain that is just a tad stronger but pure evil. It just feels like a step back for the z-men movie franchise. Let's hope it doesn't go further downhill.

Transformers sure showed how that's done.
