Review of X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) by Jorge D — 22 Feb 2017
Not the best film of the Marvel mutants, but also not the worst. It has some almost unpardonable inconsistencies (especially in the case of the Apocalypse and his Four Horsemen), and a setting of 80's highly diluted (losing badly.
To the brilliance with which the "Stranger Things" series evokes this decade).
But, either the very rich original source of comics, or the solid way the most of characters has been established on previous good movies, The X-Men continues to yield excellent fun, with inspirational passages (another sensational show of Quicksilver powers, and most faithful incarnation of Wolverine - taking into this account, all his passages in cinema), and ultimately, ensuring the interest on the big-movie-franchise. ?
