Review of X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) by Mayank A — 04 Jun 2017

It's an enjoyable movie as a standalone but when compared to the other offerings by the X-man franchise, it falls short. The action is as always CGI heavy, big, dark and violent. Did feel it's lacking in the humor department as compared to the franchises like Avengers, the only fun scene was the cameo by Quicksilver even that was better in the previous X-man movie.

It does have a superb cast and everyone's performances are good just felt there were too many mutants and ultimately everyone got very little screen time.
