I can't tell you how disappointed I was with this movie. Fox is squandering its potential with this franchise given the X-men's rich history and continues to underestimate its audience's level of intellect .

I know Apocalypse has been compared to a Power Rangers villain, but for the WHOLE MOVIE to feel like a Power Rangers film is just LAZY. Absolutely no thought into the villain, the storyline, or the stakes.

And again Fox force feeds an underdeveloped Phoenix down our throat as a get out of jail free card! Score would have been lower if it wasn't for that one entertaining QS scene.
