Review of Wyatt Earp (1994) by David L — 23 Feb 2008
There are two kinds of movie fans - those who get Costner and those who dont - I do. I love this movie because no woman does. Lacks the flash of Tombstone, but has it all over all westerns but Unforgiven for substance.
It is very rare that you can watch a film and say at the end there was no weak line, weak scene, weak actor, or contrived, poltically correct moralizing. Costner, again is brilliant and sentimental without compromising his masculinity.
Has that tansfixing quality unique to Costner films.
