Review of Wyatt Earp (1994) by Keith T — 26 Jan 2009
This is a good film, with some great set pieces, but is let down by the sheer overindulgence of its length. OK, it does make an effort to tell us the whole story of Earp's life, but the contemporary "Tombstone", which only really deals with the latter part of his story, is just SO much more action packed.
I KNOW Wyatt Earp is too long, because on both previous attempts to watch it I fell asleep.
