A heartwarming, albeit slightly heavy-handed movie, that boasts decent chemistry between the wood-carver played by Pixar's lucky charm John Ratzenberger and the guy playing the troubled teen, The Woodcarver manages to avoid being preachy.
Though it is a bit forgettable, to be honest.
