Famous story about tow people who do not know how to love each other and torment each other instead. Great actors, not so great director. Why did he leave out the good parts? Heathcliff does not bang his head to the tree, and does not run to the window to call for Cathy's ghost.
Very compelling movie nevertheless, esp. the scene when Cathy dies. Ralph Fiennes is the best Heatchliff imho, dark and brooding. That how we like him.
