Review of Wrong Side of Town (2010) by Ben F — 12 Jun 2010
I don't really know what to say about this film. When I review horrible action movies, I always start off by saying, that I really don't know what to say. I have a couple of things to say, but...I mean, it's stuff that everyone would expect. This movie was terrible, without a doubt. "Wrong Side.
Of Town" was completely atrocious.
This guy, his wife, and his next door neighbors go to a club, and the guys wife is gonna be raped, so he defends her and the rapist guy dies. The owner of the club sends out guys to find these 4 people and kill him. With a little help from Bautista, Rob Van Dam and Bautista kill lots of bad guys. That's your plot. It's stupid and shitty, and I've seen it a hundred times before, and It's exactly what I expected.
The fights in this movie were pretty ridiculous. These guys are really too bulky to be Navy Seals so watching them to fast moves against bad guys is pretty awkward and boring. It's just mindless gratuitous violence, exactly what I thought I was gonna see.
Aside from two wrestlers, we have a couple of rappers join the cast. This has to be some of the worst acting I have ever seen before. EVERYONE in this movie sucks. I don't see anyone at all giving a at least half-good performance. It's like F-acting. Wow.....horrible.
So with pointless horribly coordinated action, and horrible, atrocious acting, and really amateur editing, whats good about it? Nothing....even the music sucks. Wow..."Wrong Side of Town" was just terrible.
