Review of Wreck-It Ralph (2012) by Doug B — 24 Sep 2013

This film despite being non-pixar boasts inventive, creative, quirky, unique animation. Its loaded with eye-candy and contains some really sweet action. Voice acting and character design is adorable. The idea of a video game character embracing their glitchiness and using it to obtain a victory is a cunning way to address the social stigmas, misconceptions, and widespread ignorance and misunderstandings on "mental disorders".

There is enough good in this film that I am able to forgive its horribly inaccurate and "Disneyfied" depiction of how video games work.
