This is one of the best animated movies of all time. It contains an extraordinarily deep mythology with layered storytelling far beyond that of a "kids movie." The film is stacked with video game nostalgia and visual eye-candy.

It's depth at times would go over the head of any child; providing dark, complex themes underneath its glossy coat. This only enhances its extremely bouncy tone and riveting, fun story. By the credits, I felt it was perhaps the happiest I had ever been by the end of a movie.
